between 12th and 18th century.

Kathmandu Darbar Square is
the most important cultural,
religious and urban centre
of Kathmandu.
In addition to numerous specimens
of wood crafts years magnificent
stone carving, the other major
attractions of Kathmandu Durbar
Square are the immense statue
of Kal Bhairab (God of destruction),
the Taleju temple, Coronation
nasal Chowk, Gaddi Baithak,
Big Bell, the Jagannath Temple,
the statue of King Pratap
Malla, the Big Drum and Nautalle
Durbar. Apart from that you
also get to see the magnificent
17th century stone inscription
which is fixed on the wall
of the palace. The stone inscription
includes written in 15 different
languages. Don’t miss
small museums in the palace
construction, even if an entrance
fee of 250 rupees is responsible
for that.
