Culture of Nepal

The culture of Nepal is strongly influenced by the Hindu religion and culture. Majority of the population are Hindus in Nepal. Festivals traditional Gupha, Pasni, Nwaran and Bratabandha are celebrated with great pomp and spectacle. Local air blends Hindu festivals to give it a unique culture of Nepal. With the Himalayas, acting as the natural barrier Nepal enjoys a pleasant climate throughout the year. Majority of the population in Nepal are engaged in agriculture and tourism. Rice, wheat, tobacco are the main products of Nepal. With the implementation of five-year plans in Nepal, the economy has experienced tremendous growth in Nepal. This has had a positive effect on the culture of Nepal.

Today, a large proportion of the population is engaged in the tourism industry and many of them are involved in mining and hydroelectric power. Tourism gets a lot of revenue for this Himalayan kingdom. With more and more schools and colleges to come, the culture of Nepal is gradually is put in place at the head of modern methods of teaching with the western concept of lifestyle.

Most are firmly Nepali Hindus and the faithful follow strict old caste system. Besides Nepali, Maithilli, bhojpuri, Hindi and English are also widely spoken in Nepal. The culture of Nepal also drew inspiration from Buddhism. Welcome to the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha .Nepal is a shrine to many Buddhists. The presence of Tibetan refugees in Nepal is also a part of the culture of Nepal. Today, Tibetan culture has also involved in integrating the Nepalese culture. In addition to numerous hill festivals, religious festivals and opportunities are also celebrated in Nepal.
